2 Microsoft SQL Server Certification

Today, Microsoft just announce the new SQL Server Certification for SQL Server 2012.

Damm…  It is not MCITP SQL Server 2012 anymore. They rebranding the name again. The Entry level Certification call MCSA: SQL Server 2012. The Expert Level certification call MCSE: Data Platform. The Master level call… wait for it … it is not MCM anymore. It is called “MCSM”- Microsoft Certificated Solution Master.

So, with this new Certification path, if you are the existing MCITP and want to upgrade..  Its going to be a lot of effort ..

For MCITP DBA or Developer, you will need to pass 457, 458, 459…

Somehow, I feel my packet is shrinking .. I just spend fortune last year to pass MCITP DBA and Developer..  Sad smile
